At Warwick Early Learning we deliver a Queensland Kindergarten Approved Program. Ms Laura Clothier is our qualified Early Childhood teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree, specialising in Early Childhood.

The Kindergarten program encompasses the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. The curriculum promotes play-based learning experiences that are engaging and prepares children for school with opportunities to:

  • Build safe and nurturing relationships
  • Develop a strong sense of belonging
  • Enhance confidence and independence through a range of self-help experiences
  • Co-Construct connections to people, places, language and cultural heritage
  • Explore, manipulate, experiment, create and imagine through art, dance and dramatic play
  • Investigate, question, hypothesise and wonder about their world.

The Kindergarten routine is flexible allowing for the children to be 'in the moment' with their learning. Exploring a variety of learning areas including physical, social, dramatic play, constructive, creative, literacy and language, ICT, music and movement. The children explore the natural environment and sustainability as they care for a veggie garden, worm farm and compost bin.
